About Me

My name is Annette and I am a qualified Childminder based in Chapelfields, Coventry. I offer your child a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities from birth onwards that will stimulate their imagination in a fun-loving and friendly environment. I registered as a childminder in 2004. I have live with my husband and two children in an end of terraced house which is close to local parks, playing fields and only a short distance from local shops and school/preschools. I use the whole of the downstairs of my home and the small box room for childminding. I have a fully enclosed garden available for outside play. I have a play house in the garden set up as a play room. I have a large family dinner table where the children can sit and complete arts and crafts. There is a play kitchen, work bench, Lego, farm, books, cars, dolls and many more toys for all ages. I have a large garden with many outdoor toys, there are cars, sandpit, water-pit, rockers, free-flow toys, buckets, spades, swing-ball, hula hoops and other toys for many ages.

Learning & Development

My aim is to help children build a lifetime foundation and encourage the children to be confident, inquisitive and learn good social skills by using a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities to help the children enjoy learning and achieve their potential. I follow the latest requirements of the EYFS Stage Curriculum, linking the 7 areas of learning. This is how I observe, assess and plan for the children, and also track their developmental progress. I keep parents up to date via secure social media groups and personal feedback so they can view their child's milestones and achievements. There is also a 'Monthly Diary' setting out planned activities.
